Frequently Asked Questions

How do I join CJMOM?

To join CJMOM, just show up to our next meeting or send a message to membership@cjmom.org and we can help you become part of the club!  If you can’t wait, use the membership registration form at the bottom of the page, and we will get back to you with the details.  We meet in the cafeteria at Emily C. Reynolds Middle School located on Yardville-Hamilton Square Road in Hamilton, NJ.  We hold meetings on the first Wednesday of the month (though there may be exceptions) while Hamilton Schools are in session.  Meetings begin at 7:00pm.

How many members does CJMOM have?

We have 80 members and counting!  The majority of the families have twins, but there are a few families with triplets and a few families have more then one set of twins.

How much does it cost to join CJMOM?
Dues are $30.00 per year.  You may attend one meeting as a guest, but after that, dues must be paid at the second meeting. New members joining in May, June or July and pay $30 will have their membership paid for May, June, July and all of the next year.

When I join, are there additional benefits?
Your CJMOM membership entitles you to participate in various functions throughout the year, including:

  • Informative and Fun Monthly Meetings
  • Monthly Members Night Out
  • Infant/Toddler/Preschooler Play Dates
  • Family Outings, Events and Picnics
  • Adult Socials
  • State and National Conventions
  • Annual Officers Installation Dinner

Other benefits include access to our Members-Only Online Community and receipt of Monthly Club Newsletters and Bi-Monthly National Magazine.

Do I have to attend meetings to be a member?

No, you do not have to attend meetings to be a CJMOM member.

Is there a way to communicate with the group besides going to meetings?
CJMOM has a large online community.  It contains several message boards, provides news updates on group events and activities and access to our newsletter.  You can connect with other members here and participate in the group without having to come to a meeting.

We also offer a program called "E-pals" for expectant parents - we match you up with a current member and you exchange messages together, kind of like a pen-pal, but over email!  You do not need to be a CJMOM member to participate in this program. Just let us know what's going on with your pregnancy and we'll do the rest.  With over 80 members, we have a lot of experience to share.

How long are the meetings?

They run anywhere from 1 1/2 to 2 hours.  Everyone arrives around 7:00pm.  The general meeting starts at 7:30pm and contains general business, event updates and a program or guest speaker.  The meetings usually conclude at 9:00pm.

Can I bring my kids to the meetings?
While we fully appreciate that finding childcare may be an issue as you attend meetings, we respectfully request that children not be brought to meetings.
